Civil War Harmonica - One of the most common instruments of the Civil War was the harmonica. Utilized by countless soldiers in camp to entertain and pass time. The reeds are dug at nearly every campsite and battlefield of the war. Non-excavated examples are seldom encountered. This excellent example is marked by the firm of “W. Thie” of Vienna, a firm that started in the 1830’s. Overall a fine example of a Civil War Harmonica in playable condition.
