1852 Hungary 1 Forint Note - boasting masterful engravings, these scarce uniface notes were printed in Philadelphia nearly a century and a half ago to raise money for Hungary's revolution against the Austrian Hapsburg Empire.  Revolution leader, patriot, and hero Lajos Kossuth rallied world support for the freedom of his people, and became president of the first Hungarian Republic.  His printed signature appears on each of these notes.   Nice crisp uncirculated example of a very scarce bill.
