Early Civil War Percussion Cap Box - Inventory Number: LEA 348

This authentic early Civil War leather percussion cap box, would have been carried by the soldier to carry the brass percussion caps for his musket, pistol or carbine. The original belt loops are both still present on of the back of the box. The outer flap is nice and still has the closure tab and brass finial at the bottom. The inner flap is present with both of the "ears" on the sides. Wool and vent pick are still present on the interior of the box.
