    General Longstreet Letter, In His Hand - Letter written by General James Longstreet dated 4 July, 1889 Gainesville, GA regarding conduct of Confederate Soldiers in East Tennessee during the winter of 1863-1864, small pox, and Union people within Southern lines.  Great content!  Guaranteed for life to have been written in the General's hand.  This was one of approximately 30 letters that we purchased from the Longstreet collection and is priced to sell.   Above the letters is a steel engraving from a period newspaper titled, " Longstreet Reporting at Bragg's Headquarters."  Frame measures 15 7/8"h x 19"h.  A unique opportunity to own a standout piece of history.
