Gettysburg Souvenir Plate - Depicting Likeness Of Jennie Wade And The House She Was Killed In. Jennie Wade was the only citizen of the town of Gettysburg that was killed during the three days fighting during the battle of Gettysburg. While attending to household duties at her home she was killed by a bullet on the morning of July 3rd, 1863. The house was restored into a museum that contained many relics and marks of the battle. Maker mark on the reverse reads, "Made for W.H. Tipton of Gettysburg". Measures approximately 5 1/8 inches in diameter.
