Model 1816 Replacement Bayonet

Model 1816 Replacement Bayonet - Inventory Number: BAY 254

This model of bayonet was produced at the onset of the Civil War to fit the Model 1816 muskets being converted to percussion and issued to Union Soldiers.  The base of the socket mimics the 1855 bayonet.
