Veterans carry flags commemorating the battles of Gettysburg, Shiloh, Chickamauga, Cold Harbor, and Appomattox, with Dixie, 1861 written at the top. A G.A.R. memorial bears the names Sherman, Grant, Lincoln, and a partial Loga. Drawn by newspaper artist and Civil War Veteran, P.J. Carter. Frame measures 20 3/8" x 19 1/2" actual 14 1/2" x 13 1/2".
