Requa Billinghurst Cartridge - Inventory Number: BUL 438

This is a complete non-dug cartridge for the 25-barrel Billinghurst & Requa Battery Gun. The brass cartridge case cylinder is closed with a machined base plug that contains an ignition hole. The bullet used in these has a solid base and four grooves. These were reloadable cartridge cases that were loaded with combustible cartridges made by D. C. Sage.  This specimen is in good, solid condition.

Comes housed in 5 x 6 riker display case with red velvet and descriptive card.
