    Presented to Joseph L. Jones by the people of Halifax, Mass. As a token of their appreciation of his heroic conduct in rescuing his comrade Bradford B. Waterman from drowning in Monponsett pond. Jan. 13th, 1866.”

    Beautiful silver watch presented for life-saving this silver pocket watch and orate Watch fob was presented as follows “the watch was manufactured by Eugene Tanjagriet of Neuchâtel - compensated balance the numbers on the case and watch match the watch appears to be in working order although no official testing has been conducted a wonderful relic for the saving of a life. The watch comes accompanied by a period velvet and silk lined case for display. 

    Comes housed in 8 x 12 riker display case with red velvet and descriptive card.
