Description

Civil War Era Revolver Holster

 

Civil War period holster constructed of smooth black leather with a flap secured by a brass finial. The belt loop is constructed of folded and stitched leather. The leather remains flexible with a smooth finish, and has some leather loss at the corner of the closure flap. The holster is 13” in total length and 5” across the top of the flap, and would likely be a good fit for a Colt Navy revolver. A nice, privately purchased example.
