Civil War General Officer’s Hat Cord

This hat cord is the quintessential General’s cord  from the Civil War period. It is constructed of a fine grade of gold bullion thread, wound around cording and fabric. The “acorns”, constructed of gold bullion wire and gold thread, remain in superb condition, as does the entire cord. The adjustment slide is wrapped in gold thread and covered in gold bullion wire. This is the highest quality officer’s hat cord we have had!
