Gettysburg-Recovered U.S. Eagle Breastplate
Civil War U.S. eagle breastplate recovered at Gettysburg. This stamped brass plate retains the raised Federal eagle design on its face and its lead-filled reverse. It remains in honest excavated condition with oxidation, surface wear, perimeter loss, and both attachment loops missing. Despite its relic condition, much of the eagle detail remains visible. A genuine Gettysburg-recovered battlefield artifact with strong visual appeal.
