Description

Yale College Albumen Ca. 1863

 

Outstanding image of over 50 cadets and staff.  Large dormitory style buildings can be seen in the background.  A band can be seen with drummer, fifers, and larger horns.  Very nice image of soon to be combatants in the Civil War.  Nicely framed, frame measures 17 3/8″ x 10 1/8″, actual 11 3/4″ x 4 5/8″.
