Confederate Richmond Rifle Musket Tool – Inventory Number: REL 082 / SOLD Scarce excavated hand forged iron gun tool manufactured at Richmond Armory.  Constructed of one 3 ½” long arm with a nipple wrench on the end.  A second piece, 3 ½” long with a screwdriver blade at each end is riveted to the bottom of the first. These tools have been attributed to manufacture at the Richmond Armory, and on page 100 of Paul Davies’ book C.S. Armory Richmond three tools of this pattern from Paul Johnson’s collection are pictured. All three show minor variations in length, width, and overall profile, but all three are clearly of the same pattern as this tool. A scarce Confederate relic.    Inventory Number: REL 082 / SOLD
