Confederate Tin Drum Canteen

 

Tin drum canteen measuring with convex sides. The canteen exhibits a rolled and soldered tin spout with three sling retention loops. The canteen exhibits the characteristic rough, utilitarian construction associated with Confederate manufacture.

 

Body retains its original spout and both strap brackets. Surface shows untouched age patina with scattered oxidation and honest field wear. One side displays a noticeable period dent, consistent with service use.
