Field Drum by John Lowell, Bangor, Maine – Inventory Number: MUS 119 / SOLD Civil War vintage snare drum with the maker’s label that reads “JOHN LOWELL, Manufacturers of Drums, Fifes, Banjos, Tamborines, Umbrellas, Parasols & Canes; Also, dealer in all kinds of Musical Instruments, Violin and Guitar Strings. Repairing of all Kinds Done at Short Notice. No. 14, Main Street, Bangor, Maine.” The body of the drum measures 14” by 10”. Both original rims and a split head accompany the drum. A nicely displaying drum as is, or a good candidate for restoration.   Inventory Number: MUS 119 / SOLD
