Historic Glass Flask – Clasped Hands & Eagle Motif

A stunning example of mid-19th-century American glasswork, this aqua-tinted historical flask features the classic Clasped Hands motif on one side—symbolizing unity and fraternity—framed within a patriotic shield and surrounded by stars. The reverse depicts a spread-winged eagle holding arrows and an olive branch, echoing the national emblem of the United States. Likely produced by American glassworks such as Dyottville or Mount Vernon, this bottle exemplifies the symbolic style and craftsmanship of the mid-1800s, particularly popular from the 1830s to 1860s. Measures approximately 9”. A powerful piece of American heritage, perfect for collectors of early bottles, patriotic memorabilia, or Civil War-era artifacts.
