Springfield Bayonet – Inventory Number: BAY 264 .58 caliber Springfield triangular socket bayonet. This Model 1855 socket bayonet is for Springfield rifle muskets.  Measures approximately 21” overall.  This specimen is clean and mostly bright overall. Complete with locking ring and screw.  Large “U.S” and “S” clearly stamped on blade flat.
