South Carolina Coat Button – Inventory Number: CON 260 / Sold From an early Gettysburg collection this is a sound condition excavated  Civil War South Carolina coat sized button. The face has some ground action but still retains good detail. The back still has the shank which is pushed inward. The Horstmann and Alien NY backmark is partially visible. An honest Confederate worn button.
