1853 Pattern English Cavalry Sword with Steel Scabbard and Strap 

A well-preserved example of the 1853 Pattern English cavalry sword, a widely used mid-19th century military saber known for its robust construction and effective service design. This piece presents with a clean, well-maintained profile and strong overall condition. 
The blade retains a smooth, even surface with no visible dents or significant dings, exhibiting a pleasing, lightly aged finish consistent with careful preservation. The fuller is well-defined, and the blade shows minimal wear, enhancing its visual appeal. No visible maker’s mark or inspector’s stamp is present, which is not uncommon for examples of this pattern. 

The steel hilt and guard display a deep, dark brown patina, matching the overall tone of the piece.
