1861 Percussion Cap Label

 

Paper label for a package of 1000 percussion caps, with the patent date of September 21, 1861. “TO THE PUBLIC. PERCISSION CAPS FOR GUNS, REVOLVING PISTOLS AND MILITARY MUSKETS.” The label measures 6” square. A good addition to a Civil War firearms display.  Comes housed in a display case with black velvet backing and descriptive card.
