Boxed Set of 5 Parker Patent Tobacco Snuff Boxes – “New Old Stock” in Original Box 

 

A rare and remarkable find: an original retail box labeled “One Dozen Extra Finished XX Oval Tobacco Boxes – C.J.H. & Son”, containing five oval-shaped Parker Patent snuff boxes in excellent, unused condition. These small, polished metal tins were designed for carrying tobacco or snuff and are prized for their smooth, ergonomic design and hinged lids. Though the original box was intended to hold twelve, this lot includes five pristine examples, still nestled with remnants of the original protective tissue. A fantastic opportunity for collectors of tobacciana, 19th–early 20th century general store goods, or patent novelties.
