Charge of the Pennsylvania Reserves
This photo artifact of Americana is a stereoscopic card that depicts the Charge of the Pennsylvania Reserves at the Battle of Gettysburg. . Stereoview, in very fine condition, is constructed of hard pasteboard and measures 7″ long x 4″ high. Card body exhibits just a slight concave shape due to age and storage. Background card surface is light-colored upon which two almost identical copies of the monument are glued. The card device is made to be looked at via a handheld stereocard viewer in order to gain the three-dimensional effect that the card produced. Photo image is clean and clear with nice detail and shows no or very little foxing or surface grime.
