Civil War Artillery Man’s Fuse Box

 

This original Civil War naval artillery fuse box, went on the side of the Civil War naval artilleryman. It held his paper time fuses for firing the cannon shells.  The original closure tab is present, and the bottom of the box has the brass finial. On the back of the box is the original leather belt loop solidly intact. This will make a fine addition for a naval or artillery collector.
