Civil War Bone P.O.W. Rings – Inventory Number: PER 358 / SOLD Two hand carved bone rings. One has a plain, flat bezel, and the other has three diamonds carved into it. Accompanying the rings is a period note in ink that reads “bone rings made by union soldiers in a southern prison.” Prisoners of war often crafted items such as these for trade, or simply to alleviate boredom. Nice relics from a Civil War P.O.W. camp. Comes housed in a 4 x 5 inch display case with black velvet backing and descriptive card. Inventory Number: PER 358 / SOLD
