Civil War Fife with “Cheater” – Inventory Number: MUS 073 / SOLD Excellent condition example with silver furrells and Civil War Fife Mouthpiece.   Sometimes also referred to as a Fife Cheater.   These would be fitted over the blow hole of a fife, so it could be played simply by blowing into it and with no training to play it in the traditional way. It’s made of Pewter with a brass tightening screw.   Inventory Number: MUS 073 / SOLD
