Civil War Holster – Left-Handed

 

Scarce original leather left-handed holster for the large-framed revolver, measuring approximately 15 inches.  This example will accept the Colt Army and Navy as well as the Remington Army revolver.  The leather is supple and will gladly accept a revolver.  Constructed of black bridle leather with a full flap and classic closure tab, this pattern was widely issued to Union cavalrymen during the war. The seam is fully intact as well as the base plug.  The belt loop has a double reinforced stitching and 3 rivet design.  Would nicely compliment any revolver or display by itself.
