Civil War Pistol Case – Inventory Number: HAN 112 / SOLD Unique handmade pistol box circa 1861.   Constructed of dovetailed mahogany with a pistol shaped bone inlay bearing the original owner’s initials: “G.M.Y.”.   The interior of the box is intricately designed and with a sliding lid and spring latched compartment for ammunition.   It appears to have been constructed for a pair of Smith and Wesson 2nd model “Army Revolvers”.   An awesome and unique relic. We haven’t encountered another like it in our thirty years. Inventory Number: HAN 112 / SOLD
