Description

Colonial Shoe Buckles

 

Original non-excavated pair of silver over steel shoe buckles dating to the 1770 – 1810 period. They have an ornate stamped and engraved design.  The buckles measure 3 1/2” x 2 1/4” inches. The faces exhibit silver accents which are riveted to the body.  Stunning examples.
