Description

Confederate Holster

 

Leather flap holster for large frame revolver such as the Colt Navy or Griswold.  The leather body is in sound condition and features a flap with a riveted tab which was designed to pass through a keeper which is hand-stitched to the front of the holder.  The back side retains the original belt loop which is fastened via four copper rivets and would accommodate a 2” wide belt.  The seam is open for 4” but it does not affect the display.  No plug is present, does not appear to have had one.  A very displayable example of a Confederate revolver Holster.
