Wonderful pair of early opera glasses constructed of finely turned bone and gold-gilt brass. This elegantly made set displays excellent period craftsmanship, with smooth bone eyepieces and barrels complemented by a gracefully formed gilt brass bridge and central focusing mechanism.

The gilt brass surfaces retain warm coloration with attractive age patina, while the bone components exhibit light, even toning. The lenses remain intact.
