Early Daguerreotype Ca. 1848 – Inventory Number: HAR 207 / SOLD ¼ plate example is one of the earliest photographs taken since the introduction of photography!  The original paper matting with gold embellished designs highlighting the corners.  The male subject had some tarnish at the edges and some surface abrasion, otherwise fine.  A very displayable example of one of the earliest images.   Inventory Number: HAR 207 / SOLD
