Excavated Model 1855/61 Bayonet Made into a Pot Hook – Inventory Number: BAY 195 / SOLD Bayonet in very nice, excavated condition with the “US” on the blade partially visible. This one had its blade bent at the end by a soldier and was likely used as a pot hook. It was dug from a campsite in the Rapidan River area of Virginia.
