Exquisite Staff and Field Officer’s Sword – Inventory Number: SWO 180 / SOLD This deluxe model 1850 staff and field officer’s sword features a silver grip with twisted brass or gold wire.  Large basket hilt with a widespread American eagle and eagle head quillion.  The scabbard which is also constructed of silver with deluxe grade mounts featuring a full standing “lady Liberty”, a panoply of arms and an Indian on the drag.  The blade exhibits bright frosting with a large fancy panel which reads: “U.S.” with a widespread eagle on the obverse.  The ricasso is marked W. Clauberg, Solingen. Inventory Number: SWO 180 / SOLD
