Lithograph, Publ. by Currier & Ives 152 Nassau St, NY.    Image celebrating the Emancipation Proclamation freeing the slaves on January 1, 1863.   Interesting to note the presence of Native Americans Indians in the background looking on. Shackles below the figures. Very good condition.   Professionally mounted in an archival frame.   Sight: 9 ¾ x 13 ½” x 16 ½” Frame: 17 ½ x 21 ¼”.   Very rare example, these have brought over $1,800.
