Band Hat Device – Inventory Number: VET 248 / SOLD Rare, embroidered insignia worn by members of the Grand Army of the Republic bands.  Embroidered of gold bullion on black velvet, this device has a cord which would have been placed around the crown of a hat.  The reverse is silk backed.  Only one we’ve encountered!
