G.A.R. Slouch Hat – Inventory Number: VET 213 / SOLD Very nice conditioned black felt slouch hat.  Felt is supple with a nice roll rather than crease on the fore and aft.  The front of teh crown has a stamped brass wreath with gold wash and silver letters G.A.R. pinned to the front.  The crown has a black ribbed ribbon going around its base along with a civil war era worsted wool Hardee hat cord in nice condition. The interior has a complete 2 inch high brown leather sweatband marked Columbia.  Sweatband shows wear from use.  A genuinely nice example of the classic Union veterans slouch hat.  Inventory Number: VET 213  / SOLD
