Gettysburg Desk Set – Inventory Number: GET 452 / SOLD Early souvenir of the Battlefield of Gettysburg.  Constructed with a section of Battlefield Wood mounted with a US cartridge box plate fixed to the face with a pair of early nails with a fired and a drop bullet at Jason to the plate. The front of the wood block bears and ink calligraphy inscription “Gettysburg” The bottom has the remnant of a paper label which can be read in part: “relics from the battlefield… Tree at … Gettysburg PA”.
