Identified Camp Mirror 109th New York Infantry

 

Classic Civil War soldier’s traveling mirror with original mirror glass. Sliding design. Nice condition example with period identification stamped on interior of the sliding lid to: Charles A. Perry – Enlisted at 21 years old on 8/5/1862 at Chenango, NY as a Sergeant and mustered into Company “E” of the 109th New York Infantry. He was promoted to 1st Sergeant and Later to 1st Lieutenant and was Mustered Out on 6/4/1865 at Delaney House, Washington, DC.
