Bowen Company F, 30th Georgia Infantry – Inventory Number: UNI 167 / SOLD Wounded at Chickamauga (9-19-1863) Wounded at Atlanta (7-22-1864) Captured at Nashville, 12-16-1864 POW at Johnson’s Island, Ohio Period type written tag is pated to the brim and states: “Hat worn by Captain C.P. Bowen of Co. C 30th Georgia Regiment of old Campbell now Douglas Co. This hat worn in attending the reunion of his regiment.
