India Pattern Brown Bess Bayonet

 

Bayonet for the British India Pattern Brown Bess, the standard musket of the British Army from the Napoleonic Wars to 1840. The bayonet’s 16” blade is marked Osborn & Gunby, which produced bayonets from 1808 to 1811. In good condition with areas of light rust and scattered pitting.
