“Jeff Davis” Hardee Hat Insignia – Inventory Number: INS 339 / SOLD Original stamped brass “Jeff Davis” or Hardee Hat eagle insignia used to pin up the side of the Army felt dress hat. Brass surface has a rich bronze patina over the original gold gilt.  The reverse retains both original loops. A very nice example of a classic Civil War insignia. Comes housed in 6 x 8 riker display case with black velvet and descriptive card.   Inventory Number: INS 339 / SOLD
