Embossed brown cloth binding, spine gilt-lettered with some wear to the cover. Identified inside the front cover to George G. Stoddard, U.S. Marines. Lieutenant George G. Stoddard commanded the battalion of USMC Infantry under the Naval Brigade during the Battle of Honey Hill, South Carolina. A rare manual with a significant USMC identification.
