Ohio Volunteer Militia Cartridge Box Plate – Inventory Number:  BEL 412 Non-excavated Ohio Volunteer Militia cartridge box plate, constructed of die-struck rolled brass with lead fill and iron wire attachment loops. In very good condition with uncleaned, reddish bronze patina. This example is listed as plate 555 in American Military Belt Plates by Michael J. O’Donnell & J. Duncan Campbell. A fine and desirable OVM plate.
