Pair of Relic Knives Found Near Antietam, MD

Awesome pair of relic knives from the Civil War era.  They are mounted to a stained piece of thin panel board with an old ink tag stating” Found in Field near Antietam Battlefield.”  Both knives have honest matching patina and pitting from exposure to the elements.  The top example measures 22” and is likely a corn or crop knife, the lower example measures 12 ½” and has a classic utilitarian look with clipped point.  Neat pair of early recovered knives.
