Percussion Cap Box to Accompany the Scarce Mann’s Patent Cartridge Box – Inventory Number: LEA 434 Original leather cap box to accompany the scarce Mann’s Patent Cartridge Box. The “ears” are integral to the primary flap and are mounted directly to the primary flap and not constructed with a secondary flap.  The mounting of these “ears’ are evident by the stitching on the outer flap.  The face bears a sub inspector mark of “L.H. Norfolk / U.S. Ord Dept. Sub Inspector” and the reverse “H.W. Oliver” between the belt loops.
