An outstanding and original Civil War printed roster of the 19th Maine Volunteer Infantry, listing the full regimental staff and the complete rolls of Companies A through K. The roster features commanding officers Colonel Frederick D. Sewall, Lt. Col. Francis E. Heath, and Major Henry H. Cunningham, along with dozens of officers, NCOs, and enlisted men who served with distinction from Gettysburg through Appomattox.

 

Printed in bold type on period wove paper, the roster presents beautifully with strong contrast and clear legibility. It remains in its original 19th-century frame with an attractive aged patina, giving it an impressive display presence.
