Short Artillery Sword – Inventory Number: SWO 251 / Sold The Foot Artillery Short Sword was intended for use by the regular or foot artillery regiments and it was the issue sword for sergeants and musicians of infantry regiments from 1832 until 1840.  This example is French manufactured with a maker marking at the base of the ricasso.
