Union infantryman wearing a nine-button frock coat, forage cap, and accoutrements.   Holding a bayonetted model 1816 musket.  Photographer has tinted infantryman’s cheeks and accoutrements.   Housed in a full leatherette case with brass mat.  Interior of left side of case is lined with gold embossed velvet.
