One page letter from Mrs. J.O. Busch at No. 254 Lafayette Street. June 3, 1862 to Surgeons at U.S. Hospital. Asking for a surgeon to visit her because of: “a disease most common amongst married ladies,” “My life is in danger”. At the end she mentions that she signs as Mrs. Dr J.O Busch formerly Sherman Light Battery, Fort Snelling, MN.
